The place was quite clean, the staff was friendly, and I had a great time in the modern, newly renovated room with a view of the Alps.

beautifully maintained and new-fashioned room with large beds, an electric kettle, central heating, and a work desk. secluded location within walking distance of the station. really close to the mountains and town below, all bavarian castles and munich and nature.

The room here was modern and well-maintained with convenient amenities like a hair dryer, a walk-in shower, and bath sheets, while the location up on a hill was secluded and stunning.

This place has an amazing location, making it easy to access all the Bavarian castles, mountains, and town without any issues.

Superfriendly staff and nice view over the valley to the mountains. Location is stunning and fantastic, adjacent to Garmisch and mountains, within walking distance of the station.

The view from this spot was amazing! It is up on a scenic hill near the base of the Wank Bahn and you can look out over the whole valley from the patio. Our corner room had a lovely wrap around balcony with the same amazing view. The breakfast was great - coffee was fabulous, best we've had since we've been traveling in Eastern Europe. The food in the restaurant was very good as well. If we hadn't made plans to go explore, we might've just stayed on the patio all day!

The bed wasn't super comfortable and the bathroom was quite small, but the room was intended to be for one person, initially. The distance from the main square in Garmisch is fairly far on foot - and uphill on the way back. I would suggest that you have a rental car if you stay here - we spent almost as much on taxis.

The hotel had beautiful views.

We stayed a Monday night when the hotel was un-staffed, so the key was in a box outside when we arrived. This was fine, but the electricity went off in all our three rooms at 23.00 and we had to wait until the following morning to report the fault, which was sorted fairly quickly.

The name 'Berggasthof Panarama' says it all. The gasthof is situated above Garmisch-Partenkirchen with an outstanding view of the valley below along with the northerly reaches of the Alps to include the Zugspitze (highest point in Germany). The restaurant was superb.

Carrying in the luggage to the third floor was a minor challenge!

The hotel had well-kept rooms. Truly enjoyed the WiFi and balcony included in the room. the breakfast had a great selection and was excellent. the hotel had a nice secluded setting in the hills overlooking the village.
